Showcase Theatre is a member of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Theatrical Alliance since it's inception in 1997. NEPTA is a not for profit organization of community theatre groups and local media representatives. The primary purpose of the organization is to create a greater awareness of theatre and the arts to the general public. Every year in September NEPTA hosts an awards ceremony where the best and brightest the theatre community has to offer are celebrated, and Showcase Theatre has been fortunate enough to receive 35 awards in that time.
